Youth Day

Girls’ Night Out Sip & Shop
Pompano Beach – Our Social Bunch is hosting a Girls’ Night Out Sip and Shop event benefiting My Safe Harbor, with raffle basket drawings. My Safe Harbor will be there to run the raffle basket table. Fun Day Bowling

Art 4 Healing
Deerfield Beach – A Relax Through Art workshop will be held Feb. 28, 7:30 p.m. at the Historical Society Cultural Center, 84 SE 4 Ave. The session encourages the expression of feelings with the use of color and is open to anyone with an interest in art. Teen Coping Skills
Deerfield Beach – Teens are welcome to a special ARPA workshop, “What Lies Underneath?” with Cassidy Ferguson, LPC, PMH and founder of Messin’ With My Mental. This workshop is dedicated to learning ways to cope with anger, including relaxation, distraction and grounding skills. Lift Every Voice
Deerfield Beach – Deerfield Park Elementary, 650 SW 3 Ave., presents its Lift Every Voice Black History Month Celebration, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The event includes a chorus, drumline, dance group, artistic presentations, steel drum ensemble, and other instrumental pieces. Admission is free.

Pompano Beach – The Pompano Beach Garden Club will host its Glamor in the Garden Soup Luncheon & Fashion Show, March 4 at 11:30 a.m. at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, 1801 NE 6 St. Plants and jewelry will be available for sale and there will be a fashion show by Patchington’s. Auxiliary Safe Boating Course
Pompano Beach – As a public service, the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Pompano Beach, is offering its Boat America Course on Feb 25 at the Charlotte Burrie Center, 2669 N. Federal Hwy. This one-day program begins at 8 a.m. and finishes at 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $50 per person and includes materials. Fundraiser for Walk for the Poor
Pompano Beach – The Saint Vincent De Paul-St. Gabriel Conference will be hosting its Annual Fundraiser for Walk for the Poor at St. Gabriel Parish Hall, 731 N.
